There’s lots of exciting golf to plan for throughout the year ahead, and if you come in for a custom fitting this weekend, we can get you up and running with the latest driver from Titleist.

You may well be unfamiliar with the TSR range, but there’s a lot to unpack with these fantastic golf drivers. Today we’re going to give you three solid reasons why this club is one to get really excited about.

1. TSR Shape and Looks

There’s no denying the silky and intriguing shape of the TSR1 driver. When you first pick it up and look at the head, you can make out the matte black finish and streaks of silver that skirt around the crown. It looks fantastic and there’s clearly been a lot of fine-craftsmanship going into this design!

When you’re standing over the ball on the tee, you’ll appreciate the smooth, confidence-inspiring shape of the clubhead. An icon above the middle of the face let’s you line up your shot with ease. The face itself features alignment lines near the toe and hosel, each outlining the central sweet spot.

Each TSR driver model has refined shaping to make them more aerodynamic through the air, increasing your clubhead speed on the downswing.

2. TSR Feel

It looks good, but does it feel good? Well the answer is yes, yes it does. This golf driver has a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip that will give you a superb hold over your club.

The club feels great when you slide it out of your bag and take the headcover off. It’s also very wieldy and feels natural when you take practice swings, but it’s only when you actually strike the ball do you feel how much engineering and effort has gone into this club.

Titleist pays a lot of attention to sound and feel when designing these clubs, the better the noise when you flush a driver strike, the better it feels. Thanks to the face tech, you’ll be hitting a sweet spot regardless of where on the face you make contact with the ball.

3. TSR Tech

It should go without saying that a golf driver is only as good as the tech it’s made of, and Titliest has made the TSR with the latest cutting-edge advancements.

The R&D department at Titleist were given the task to get their drivers back to the top flight of the driving game, and they absolutely achieved it.

The TSR clubhead has been designed to embody an attractive shape and looks fantastic when you’re standing over the ball. The pleasing looks will give you a boost of confidence each time you head to the tee.

The face on this club is not to be overlooked. Titleist has gives the TSR range multi-plateau variable face thickness tech. This may sound like a mouthful, but in a nutshell, it means you’ll be getting better speed retention on off-centre hits, giving you the best strike possible should you not hit your ball perfectly.

We can’t get over how fun this driver is to swing, and it’s a joy to go over how each section has been specifically designed to contribute to your performance.

TSR: A family of four golf drivers

Every golfer has a unique ability, and every golfer has a unique swing. With this in mind, Titleist has created four separate TSR golf drivers, all made with a specific kind of player in mind.

As we’ve mentioned, the TSR1 is the lightweight entry in the range. If you have a naturally slow swing speed, this driver will help you build up power and momentum to get a higher launch and greater distance down the fairway.

Offering a tour-validated performance, the TSR2 driver will give you tons of speed and low spin on your strikes for the perfect combination of distance and forgiveness.

If you’re an adept and consistent ball striker, you’ll appreciate all the TSR3 driver has to offer. The central performance from this club has been amplified to give you the most out of flush strikes, whilst its SureFit Adjustable CG Track System allows for dialled in performance.

An ultra-low spin driver, the TSR4 is highly workable and has adjustable weighting so you can make your shots your own.

If you’re thinking of kickstarting your 2024 with a new golf driver, why not pop by the pro shop? When you come for a custom fitting, we’ll be able to take a look at your ability and how you approach the ball. We’ll then get you kitted up with appropriate gear so you can take your game to the next level.
